Trivia night on the big screen. Everyone buzzes from their phone.

Trinko Trivia is a web app for running a Jeopardy-style trivia night: the board on the TV, every phone a buzzer, and a score that adds itself up. Build a board or grab one ready to run; Trinko Trivia keeps score, runs the clock and does the admin, so you can work the room. Free to make and free to host. Trying it needs no account.

Try a round · Got a code? It's on the TV. Type it under Join. No app, no account.

Run the room, or let it run itself.

Host a venue night

You run it from a laptop and call the answers. A full ten-row night runs about an hour and a half.

Play at home

Everyone grabs their phone, the TV shows the board, and nobody has to run it. Party mode, for home or small groups.

Three steps, and nothing to install.

  1. Pick a board. Write your own, import a spreadsheet, or take one ready to run.
  2. Put it on the TV. One page on the screen: the board, the scores and a code to join.
  3. Phones buzz in. A team name, nothing else. No app, no account. First to buzz answers.

The moments the room remembers.

For hosts: import a spreadsheet or a JeopardyLabs board, wear your own brand with a membership, and sell the boards you write.

Pick one and play tonight.

Written by hosts who have run them. Free boards for a kitchen table, full bar nights from $14.99. See all boards ›

Your first night, tonight.

Free to make and host. Ready-made boards are free or a one-time purchase.

Do players need an app?

No. Players open a web page on their phone: scan the QR on the TV or type the code. No app and no account.

What if the wifi drops?

Phones on their own data work as well as wifi. The buzzer order is decided on the server with each phone's clock corrected, and a phone that drops comes back in with its team PIN.

How many teams can play?

A full ten-row night runs well for ten to twenty teams at a venue. Party mode is best up to about six.

Does it cost anything?

Making a board and running a night are free, and players never pay. Some ready-made boards cost a one-time price; branding is an optional membership.

This didn't load. Bar wifi can do that.
