Privacy
Last updated 9 September 2026. Applies to trinkotrivia.com and the names that redirect to it (luckyfoxtrivia.com, trinko.io). Trinko Trivia is run by CAMMY LLC.
Trinko Trivia runs live trivia nights. This page says what we collect, what we do with it, and what we do not do. It is written to be read.
If you play
You do not need an account to play. When you join a night we store the team name you type, the answers your team locks in, the times your team pressed the buzzer, any bonus points the host awards, and your team's score. Your browser holds a random anonymous session so you can rejoin if the page reloads or your phone dies. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
If you choose to keep your nights, you create an account with an email address and a password, and can add a name for your teammates to see. The account only links the nights you played from that phone to you: the date, the venue, the board, your team's name, its score and where it finished. A team you make holds its name and who joined it through your invite link. Nothing else is collected. You can delete the account from the My nights page at any time; the venue's record of the night is not changed by that.
Team names and scores are shown on the venue's TV and on the other players' phones during the night. The host can rename or remove a team. A night's data is kept afterwards as part of the host's record of that night.
If you host
We store your email address and a password, which are only used to sign you in. We store the name, color, logo and handle you choose for your boards; the name, logo and color are shown on the TV and player phones during your nights, and the name and handle are shown publicly in the shop on any board you sell, at a page of your own. None of those has to be your real name. We store the boards, questions, answers and media links you write, the nights you run, and the invite code you were given, along with who, if anyone, invited you.
If you buy a board we record which board, when, and the price. If you sell a board we record each sale and the split of it that is yours. When we pay you, Stripe collects the identity and bank details needed to send the money and, where tax law requires it, a tax form; Stripe holds those, not us. We store only the identifier of your Stripe account and whether it is ready to be paid. If you are paid by bank transfer instead, we ask for the details by email and keep them outside the platform.
Money
Cards are handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own page. We never see a card number. Stripe receives your email, the board you are buying and the price, and keeps its own record under Stripe's privacy policy.
Cookies and tracking
We set no cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels. Your browser keeps a few things in its own storage so the site works: your sign-in session, whether you chose the light or dark look, and an invite code if you arrived on one. Nothing in that storage is read by anyone but this site, and clearing it just signs you out.
Services we use
- Supabase stores the data above and handles sign-in. It sees the network address of every device that connects.
- Cloudflare serves the site and stores uploaded GIFs and logos. Browsers may report a failed connection to Cloudflare so we can see outages; those reports carry no identity.
- Stripe takes payment and sends payouts, as above.
- Giphy supplies GIFs a host searches for. A GIF chosen from Giphy is loaded from Giphy directly by the TV and every phone in the room when it is shown, so Giphy sees those requests. A GIF a host uploads is served by us instead.
We do not sell data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run ads.
What is public
A board in the shop shows its title, cover, description, category names, square values, price, how many nights it has been run, and the creator's chosen name and handle. The questions and answers are never shown to anyone who has not bought it. A creator's page lists their boards and the same numbers. Nothing else about a host is public.
Keeping and deleting
A night's record is kept as long as the host's account exists. A host can delete a board that has never been played from the builder, and can delete their whole account from the dashboard, which removes their email, boards, nights and bought boards at once. The one exception is a host who has sold a board: the people who bought it keep the right to run it, so that account is deleted by hand on request. Players who want a team taken out of a night's record can ask the host, or email us.
Age
Trinko Trivia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly hold anything about them. Host accounts and purchases are for adults.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
